An OPEN BOOKCASE in the central area of Vienna (district Neubau). This “cupboard” functions as a public exchange platform for books and in the meantime has been established in different locations in Vienna.

Three beams leaning into one another create a dynamic spatial gesture - a temporary presence in the urban context for communication, exchange, and information. Depending on their position, arrangement, and orientation, the beams act as initially empty containers that are filled with functions, information, and content.
